A Day In My Life

I decided today I would ramble on about my day. Well, technically from last night to this evening. Last night, I watched Jeopardy, then I saw the U.S.  women's free skate, and finally, finished the night off with the X Games. What a lot of people don't know about me, is that I love to watch competition shows, they are basically the only shows I really watch. Last summer Olympics, I did 100 crunches every night that it was on. Competitions like these really bring out motivation in myself. When I see other people doing these amazing tricks and showcasing their tremendous amount of talent, I want that to be me. After watching some of the X Games, because it was on until 12:35 am, I went to sleep at 12:00.
When I woke up this morning at around 12:30 pm, I ate some Cocoa Pebbles cereal, while watching a video about thrifting on my phone. When I finished my breakfast, I wanted to start writing a blog post but instead played The Sims for an hour. Next, I began a show called “Rythm &  Flow” on Netflix. I watched two episodes, then finally worked on writing my blog post while listening to music. I got about two sentences into it before I stopped because it was a topic I needed to think about more. So, you'll probably see that one tomorrow. I listened to my music and did my makeup until 5:30, then I got bored and went on YouTube. I didn't stop until dinner was ready. I had roast beef and potatoes with gravy. It was the best thing I have tasted in my life, though I feel that way towards everything my dad makes. After that, I took a bath, I'm only telling you about this part because, hilariously, I banged my head against the faucet. The entire time I was trying so hard to be careful and not hit my head, then I went on and did it anyway. That just makes me cackle, my head still feels a little tender too, and it's been about 20 minutes. As you can probably guess, I started writing this directly after my bath. I'm proud of the progress I am making so far, and the creative juices are flowing. I think I'll end off the night by watching the X Games, day three, which starts at ten and ends at twelve.
Hopefully, I'll wake up early tomorrow morning and be more productive. Today, I have just felt lazy. I  aspire to do more with my day than just sit around and do basically nothing, I crave to get things done. Lately, I have been feeling that my day to day life has been so repetitive, I do the same thing every day, with only slight variation between what I have for homework. It's boring, there is a saying that only boring people get bored, and I'm afraid that I am becoming a boring person. Maybe it's because I'm by myself most of the time, I mean, I have my parents but they do their repetitive schedule as well. My dad watches old shows, puts wood on the fire, takes a nap and makes dinner. My mom comes home after work, makes her coffee, then goes directly to the computer, and is on Facebook until dinner is ready. Going to college will make me a more productive person, surely, or am I being too naive. I don't know, but I hope that being around other people who need to get things done, will allow me to prosper and be more motivated. Well, this has been me rambling about my day and thoughts that came to my mind while typing.  Thanks for reading, and I wish you all a good night or morning.
I’ll keep you updated.
